Adding to Faircount’s ever-growing list of publications produced for the outdoors is the latest edition “50 Years of American Wilderness” published to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act, signed on September 3, 1964. The publication has been produced in partnership with Wilderness 50, a special advisory committee compromised of experts within government, NGOs and industry.

The special edition, high-gloss magazine tracks the history of America’s wilderness movement, from its beginnings in the late 19th century with the establishment of the first national park (Yellowstone), through the formative years of the early 20th century, to legislation in the 60s, to the present days of the 21st century and the nation’s on-going love affair with wilderness. The publication is replete with stunning photography, eye-catching design and absorbing editorials.
