In 2006, Faircount partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps and the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation to develop a historic publication, National Museum of the Marine Corps: A Tribute to All Marines – Past, Present, and Future, to mark the opening of the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The resulting work was a superb example of teamwork in which a publication was produced not only of extremely high editorial standards but one that played a key role in assisting the museum in realizing its fundraising and marketing goals.

The commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) had approved Nov. 10, 2006, (the 231stbirthday of the USMC) as the date for the official dedication ceremony of the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The celebrations began Nov. 9, 2006, with a VIP black tie reception in the museum. The dedication ceremony then followed at 2.00 p.m. on Nov. 10, 2006, with approximately 20,000 dignitaries, Marines, donors, and veterans in attendance, and the president of the United States as the guest of honor and Jim Lehrer as the main speaker.

The publication was distributed within a goody bag placed on all 20,000 seats in front of the podium, while it was also distributed via targeted mailing throughout the defense industry.
